Things to come...

Our fence is finally complete and just in time. We will be beginning our potty training in the next week or so. We do our best to get our puppies used to going to the bathroom outdoors before they go to their new homes. It's very important to start them at a young age and be persistent with their training. We also plan on starting our puppies on solid foods this week. We have chosen to start out with Timberwolf Organics Kettle Cooked Pheasant & Herbs Formula (formulated for all stages of life) canned food. Later we will convert their food to Timberwolf Organics Lamb & Apples dry food and/or Merrick brand dry Puppy Formula food. We spare no expense when it comes to our Cavaliers and a good healthy food is one of our top priorities. We encourage everyone who adopts one of our little ones to continue feeding them with either of these two brands. As you will see, our Cavaliers are healthy, happy, and have cashmere soft fur. We contribute these factors to our love and nurturing as well as the healthy foods we feed them.

Our babies are growing up...

Our little babies are growing up so quickly. Their eyes are open and they are beginning to play around with each other and their Mommy. It was so cute...little Sebastian was chewing on Mommy's ear this morning. He's one of the most playful of the bunch. He has already found the puppy toys and loves to drag them around. Nigel is the calm, laid-back one of the bunch. He loves to snuggle in our arms. Our sweet Baby Girl is the spitting image of her father. She loves attention and is always the first one to come and play with us. We enjoy all of our babies and hope to find Nigel and Sebastian wonderful homes with wonderful new parents soon.

Baby Girl has a home!

Our sweet princess, Baby Girl, has found herself a wonderful home! She is being adopted by a fabulous woman who is sure to love and adore her. We look forward to her visit to our new home. Her brothers, Nigel and Sebastian, are still available. If you are interested and would like to come to see either of them please let us know.

New Arrivals

We are excited to announce that our Madison is expecting puppies next weekend! They are due to arrive May 1st or the 2nd. I will be posting more information and hopefully pictures of them soon.

New Homes

I am proud to say that all of our babies have found fabulous new homes. Molly, Fletcher, and Addison have found wonderful homes with new parents who are sure to treat them like the princess and prince that they are. Addison is no longer looking for that perfect family to love and adore-she has found them! We have been working on our potty training and doing very well. Addison is such a sweetheart and absolutely adorable. She loves to snuggle! Her new family is very lucky to have her. Our puppies spend their days running around our house playing with each other and us. We have had so much fun with them. Of course with all of that playing comes nap time. Their favorite napping is done pig piled on top of each other and their auntie in their little pink fluffy bed. It's so adorable!!! Our babies have either gone or will be going to their new homes this week. We are so excited for each of them and the new journey that awaits them. We are going to miss our little babies dearly, but our time with them has been a blessing.

Puppies Available For Adoption...

Our beautiful AKC Madison Kauai Princess of Shore has had her babies! She is the proud mother of 3 solid Ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. There is absolutely NO WHITE on them. She has 2 girls (Molly and Addison) and 1 boy (Fletcher) that are looking to be adopted. Madison is an AKC registered solid ruby from champion lines. She weighs 13 lbs. and has very large ears and a "show" quality domed head. Her Prince charming (daddy) is AKC registered Laddie. He too is a solid ruby from champion lines. He weighs 13 1/2 lbs. Laddie has exceptional features and should be showing in the near future. He is sure to be a champion! Our pedigrees include Ballymacad, Clopsville, CH Rasoms Sweet William at Vicson, CH My Hope Forever, CH Harana, CH Sheeba, CH Ricksbury Tommy, as well as other incredible lines.
Sticking to our mission of family first and foremost Madison's babies were delivered on October 1, 2007 on our sectional couch. We wanted her to be comfortable. She is very fond of her daddy (my husband) and was eased through her labor by cuddling up to him.
Addison, Molly, and Fletcher are PICTURE PERFECT. They have very large ears (like their parents), cashmere soft fur, large domed heads, and perfect little noses.
Our babies come AKC registered, vet checked, will have their first set of shots, and have a 1 year health guarantee. We are looking for loving homes with parents that will truly appreciate them. Sorry, but we will NOT sell to kennels. Molly and Addison are still looking for a good home. Fletcher has been adopted and will be going to his new home next month! Our puppies are very high quality and have show potential (full registration is extra and will only be given to those approved). If you are interested please feel free to e-mail me at shorecavaliers@aol.com or call me at 757-645-2431. We highly recommend that you set-up and appointment to come and see our babies in person. We are willing to ship for an added fee.

What makes us different from the rest...

We are all about quality not quantity! There are plenty of breeders out there that raise their cavaliers in crates and kennels. The mothers of their puppies spend their days locked up in what I like to refer to as "jail". They live out their days behind bars, give birth to their babies behind bars, and when they can no longer produce more off spring they are sold like property. Purchasing puppies from such places is not saving these poor babies from a life of misery, rather; it is promoting and funding these cruel empires.
Our cavaliers are part of the family first and foremost. Like our own children they are allowed to run freely throughout our house. They have their own toys, their own couch (this doesn't stop them from taking over ours!), their own beds, and more. We only feed them the best organic foods on the market. Yes it's expensive, but we firmly believe that you get what you pay for. Our cavaliers have the softest coats around (they feel like cashmere) and are not plagued by the dandruff and dry skin that is common amongst this breed. We always keep our shots up to date, have had our cavaliers closely examined for eye and heart problems (MVD), and treat them monthly with heart guard plus and frontline plus.
My husband and I have decided to breed our cavaliers because we love the breed and we want others to be able to enjoy them as well. One couldn't ask for a better companion. Cavaliers were breed by the Queen of England as lap dogs. Their sole purpose was to sit on her lap and keep her warm. My friend's daughter was attacked by a dog when she was little and to this day she has been deathly afraid of dogs. My cavaliers are so loving and gentle that she was not afraid of them at all. Our princesses are great with children, around other animals, and love people. Like I said...you get what you pay for.
